Definitions of Words in Your 20s vs 30s
Many words seem to have different definitions depending on whether you are in your 20s, 30s or even older.
10pm
To someone in their 20s: Still too early to be fashionably late
To someone in their 30s: Bedtime at last
Fancy meal
To someone in their 20s: Pizza with more than 3 toppings
To someone in their 30s: Something made with fresh ingredients that takes over 20 minutes to prepare
Doing laundry regularly
To someone in their 20s: Washing your clothes before you have to wear your underwear twice
To someone in their 30s: Washing your clothes at least once a week
Good wine
To someone in their 20s: Something that you don’t have to pay for
To someone in their 30s: Something that’s worth every penny
Broccoli
To someone in their 20s: That green thing that you buy at the grocery store to rot in the back of your fridge
To someone in their 30s: A vital ingredient for stir-frys
Hair dye
To someone in their 20s: A great way to express yourself and look different
To someone in their 30s: Essential to cover white hair and look the same
Night clubs
To someone in their 20s: A great place to meet new people
To someone in their 30s: The one place that’s more crowded than the metro during rush hour
Savings
To someone in their 20s: Something you need to join your for friends for spring break
To someone in their 30s: Something you need to buy more fancy home appliances
Games
To someone in their 20s: Flip cup, beer pong and spin the bottle
To someone in their 30s: Charades + what happens at baby showers
The minimum about of time required between getting home from a vacation and going to work
To someone in their 20s: 30 minutes
To someone in their 30s: 10 hours
Well, that settles it. I must be over 30. For part of the list, I think I was born over 30.

No, but I miss the 20s perspective. Hangin’ out, eating out and taking a ride with friends didn’t take much thought. After 30, you start to consider schedules, healthy eating and traffic.
20s perspective + 30s common sense would be great
